We Still Have Shares Available!

We still have shares available for purchase for the 2011 season.

Thanks and welcome to everyone who have already signed up! We are proud of the opportunity our CSA provides for members of our community to eat well for less, and want to make sure that everyone who is interested in becoming a member has a chance to do so.

If you are interested but have questions or financial concerns, please contact us. If you sent in your deposit and membership agreement and want to make sure we received it, email us at CentralBrooklynCSA@gmail.com and we will get back to you right away. Week 22 Harvest

Last distribution of the season! Don’t forget to pre-register for next season and/or pick up your CSA tote bag tonight. We also have a few tote bags left if you didn’t have a chance to pre-order.

Tonight’s share will most likely include:

  • Red and white potatoes
  • Red and yellow onions
  • Butternut squash Acorn squash
  • Beets
  • Kale
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Leeks

Week 21 Expected Harvest

The season has passed so quickly! This is the final distribution for Week A half share members. Next Wednesday, November 10, is the last distribution for full share and week B half share members. Don’t forget to pre-register for next season and/or order your CSA tote bag tonight. Bags will also be available for purchase at the Bar Sepia event this Sunday while supplies last.

This week’s share will most likely contain:

  • Red potatoes
  • White potatoes
  • Kale
  • Beets
  • Onions (red + yellow)
  • Parsley
  • Butternut squash

Yesterday’s Share + Recipe Roundup

Yesterday’s share included Carrots, Radishes, Broccoli, White Potatoes, Red Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Jalapeno Peppers, Tomatillos, Collard Greens, Kale, and Cilantro.
