Week 3 Share

Last night’s share included red and white onions, garlic, kale, red lettuce, zucchini, spinach, carrots, beets, and oregano.

Week 2 Share

Our share last night included romaine lettuce, kale, spinach, cilantro, garlic, scallions, basil, parsley, and mint. Yum!

1st Meals of the CSA

Member Sean Rosvold sent out this e-mail to his friends and family after cooking up their first share. It was posted by our friend’s at Nostrand Park too!

We joined a CSA group and received our first weekly allotment of veggies and eggs straight from the farm. Laurie proceeded to make a wonderful dinner using some of the ingredients.

The Central Brooklyn CSA (CBCSA) is dedicated to working with our partners Windflower Farm and the Hebron French Speaking SDA Church to continue the work of building a Community Supported Agriculture model that increases access to fresh, local produce for all members of our communities, regardless of income level.

Join us as we continue to bring fresh, organic, affordable and nutritious vegetables and fruit to the Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, and surrounding communities.
